KQ's chief pilot has stated that the 737's wreckages were found at a distance of 5,42 km of DLA airport. So according to him, the aircraft hasn't been airborne for more than 30 seconds . Though he did not want to enter polemics with Cameroon authorities, this is really puzzling, when one remembers t...

Anyway, it's always the same music. I certainly don't want to defend Jet-Air, but for more than 24 months we keep on reading more or less the same stories about JAF in the media and... their flights/booking are always full. I don't know if people are masochists. But it reminds me some stories of pas...

Re: Engine type
What are the engines on this bird, are they the same as the other 3? No, this one has got PW4000's as the other 3 have GE CF-6 engines. SNBA had the opportunity of getting one of 3 ex-Austrian A330 with CF-6's which were younger (but at higher leasingrate), but eventually they hesitated too long an...

I read and respect your comments JAFlyer and Gliding-Glider . If you find the forums are full of crap and childish comments, I would suggest to both of you not to come anymore ;-) though this would be sad. But still I don't find it very clever to say that pax hadn't to complain because they would ha...

Dear all, It’s so easy to shoot on the tour operator / airline c.q. Jetair and their airline company in regard to the unfortunate AOG of the OO-TUC. I can and do strongly understand their position, having spent myself lot's of years in the airline business and having encountered, unfortunately, the...

 Some major corporate travel agents have received the visit of 9W'sales team members. They will fly from Brussels, it's just a matter of having the airplanes delivered since UK was the first priority for 9W (and the U.S of course...). I've seen the picture as well on A.net and was really amazed to see that bird in BRU, but now I remeber having seen a Qatari Amiri A342 or A343 some years ago in LGG. So not with the QR colours but with those of the Qatar Govt. So if hunting is the explanation... :P 8) BTW, today I feel like taking ...

That runway length issue is bs. RAM and Air Algérie already operated full flights from CRL to Morroco and Algiers or Oran. With 737, 757 and even 767. Don't ask me the precise year but they did. About Antoine it's a pure political publicity case. No comment... But the LGG airport management d...
