Re: 2022 Military escalation Russia - Ukraine - USA - NATO - Europe
It seems the tension and troop build-up around Ukraine is still mounting. What would be the immediate impact on civil aviation if Vlad eventually invades the whole of Ukraine on a misty morning in february/march ? Will all civil traffic in,or coming through , neighboring countries PL,HU,RO,MD,SK,BL ...

Re: Belgium sells c130
The Belgian Air Force withaws from service another C-130. (CH-04) Only 7 left. https://www.belgiandefencenews.be/news/un-quatrieme-c-130-retire-du-service-il-en-reste-sept-tous-a-vendre/ It is planned that all C-130's would have left the BAF fleet by 31.12.2021. I wonder how many operational A400M's...

Re: 21 July 2020: military parade
5 F-16s will launch tricolour fumes 5 f-16's only? I thought there had to be 2 planes per colour of the flag to avoid that a colour would be missing if one of the pods doesn't work, like happened years ago. This used to be the task of the Alpha-jets; did the F-16's already do this 'tricolour' thing?

Re: Trip Report Copenhagen - Brussels with SN
Your friend was very lucky to leave! Denmark is only open to Swedes from Skaane/Scania (the southern part of Sweden), the rest of the country is "closed" for Denmark unless it's absolutely necessary for travel. CPH airport is much more convenient for all of Sweden south of Gothenburg as t...

Talking about which, can somebody enlighten us on load factors these days ? I realize that a low LF risks depriving us from this feud on how criminal it is to force people to travel in these terribly confined spaces but ... No idea about LF, but I seem to have read a few days ago that most flights ...

Re: Trip Report Copenhagen - Brussels with SN
Thanks for sharing your experience of this trip. Someone I know came back from Sweden via CPH last friday. The first part of her journey was by train from the Swedish city she lives and works. After a train change in Lund, there was a direct train to Copenhagen airport. Upon arrival at the CPH-airpor...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
Let's assume that it's true, and I very much doubt it. Why could it not be true. 1. It's in the interest of the leasing companies aswell that SN stays alive . I can imagine that talking to the leasing companies to obtain lower rates was one of the first things mr Dierickx had in mind mid march when...

Re: Belgian Air Force news
Next monday,29th of June, will see the last formation flight of the Alouette III of the BAF. So these useful and cheap birds will soon be going for retirement,it seems; No replacement? So the Belgian navy will have to depend on the reliability of the 4 NH-90 only for all their missions.... https://t...

Or is Lufty chaneling every piece of freight originating in Belgium or SN's destinations they can get hold of through Frankfurt?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
SN already adjusted their schedules many times and I can feel that they are itching to postpone flights. As I said earlier, I had bookings with Easyjet and Transavia and they were cancelled while route relaunches are being postponed week after week due to low bookings. Well, if we may rely on last ...

SN9933 on its way to the Far East indeed. As per FR24 bird used is OO-SFX.And first SN flight to China:
STD 14.00 BEL9933 A333 OO-SFG to TAO
Considering the SN Flight number used , are all those Belgian planes going empty i.e.without cargo to China?
