Re: From Treviso to CRL via ... Seville, with Ryanair
Like other people, I personnally don't like Ryanair and commercial approach of MOL, but to be fully honest ... When travelling back from Venice last winter, the inbound flight from Charleroi couldn't land in Treviso due to fog and was diverted to Venice Marco Polo airport. After check in and securit...

Re: Abnormalities at BRU / ANR / LGG / CRL / OST 2010
It seems (on CASPER ...) there is a B.737-800 of Jet Air Fly (OO VAS) holding at FL400 between COA and KOK since about 45 min. Callsign is JAF 112 but I didn't find any JAF flight with this flight number (or JAF 4112) for today. Can anybody confirm ?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Accident Airbus A340 of Turkish Airlines @ Brussels Airp
All I can say is that BRU escaped a major disaster. Please don't feed the journos and NIMBY's Regi!! You can compare it to making a dent in your Ferrari when trying to park it. Nothing to be proud of, a lot of money and hastle, but far from a disaster. Hmm ... It seems the aircraft had difficulties...

Re: BRU 11/10/2010
Yesterday morning I saw the Belgian Air Force holding short of 25R. I thought it was getting ready for departure. I was cueing on the Haachtsesteenweg and a few 100 meters before reaching Brucargo I saw it's tail slowly progressing to the West. Anybody got an idea why it was slowly going towards Br...

Re: BRU 25/08/2010
anyone an idea what UA951 (BRU-IAD) was doing? first it was delayed by 1 hour and when it departed it flew south, towards Cambrai and further into France ??? Depending on the weather, the headwinds or the traffic overhead the NORTH ATLANTIC, it sometimes happens that NAT flights are crossing quite ...

Re: ANTWERP AIRPORT
Why is cityjet the only airline company who flies from Antwerp? I think it will be possible to start a (belgian) company from Antwerp to some european destinations (fokker 50, dornier, saab aircraft). VLM said (a few years ago) they were planning destinations such as Barcelona, Paris, .... Anyway, ...

Hello So guys suggest the best place would be at the B-line parking at the end of RWY25R/RWY07L? Would be fine for me I only fear for it it would not take the very last taxiway near the firegate at the end of that runway. I also don't know about the heathaze, maybe I go for sure and go for the 'hig...

I also remind very good this day. The weather was beautifull and runway 02 was in use. And of course, as mentionned, a lot of unusual traffic at BRU ! Sadly, the end of the day was indeed a nightmare.

Also three extra RAM flights from Casablanca tonight :
AT 7218 ETA 22.25
AT 2220 ETA 23.55
AT 2222 ETA 23.13
AT 2220 and AT 2222 are B738 but I don't know the type of aircraft of AT 7218 (any chance B767 or B744 ?)

Re: Flights cancelled due to volcanic ash cloud from Iceland
BEL9936 (OO DJO) just landed safely on runway 02 ! Welcome home ! OOVEX and OOVET now also seem to be heading North somewhere between Bordeaux and the Spanish border. Meanwhile the four other aircraft (see message above) are nearing the Belgian border. All have BEL99** flight numbers. Update : OODJK...

Re: Flights cancelled due to volcanic ash cloud from Iceland
According to "radar virtuel.com", four BEL aircraft are overhead southern France heading north : OOVEP/OODWB/OODJO/OODJK (see also preceding post). Should BRU temporaly reopens to allow ferry flight ?
