Re: Aviapartner lost handling license at BRU to Swissport

once again the pax are taken hostage ... while they got nothing to do with this. Most of Aviapartner employees will be taken over by Swissport... yet without knowing the exact details they start a strike. The strikers should all get sacked without a job offer from Swissport  200 % correct ! P...

15h00 : Casper shows some 4 incoming flights in holding (BA from LHR, IB from MAD, SN from MAD, PGT from ...).

The IB from MAD even seems to be diverting to AMS and the SN from MAD seems to be diverting to LGG.

Re: K3 - now on thomas cook plane!

Interesting allegation. And how -exactly- do you measure the return on investment ? Just for the 2 variety programs on Flemish tv, they've got 6,5 minutes prime time: 4 minutes on VTM (kind of RTL) and 2,5 minutes on VRT (counterpart RTBf). I haven't counted the number of times that "Thomas Co...

K3, who are they ? Belgium: one point. K3 stands for Karen, Kirsten and Kathleen. Three young ladies who started a musical group about ten years ago, aiming for the age group 1y-12y. Excellent clientele: their parents and grandparents buy K3 cd's, K3 clothings, K3 shoes, K3 bicycles, tickets for K3...

Re: SN flight to TLS left without baggage !

Please go back to the very first post here, and read one of the many articles about this story. Brussels Airlines says it's force majeure - overmacht. It is not . A strike by a private contractor is never "hand of God" (apparently the English term for force majeure / overmacht). A strike b...

Re: SN flight to TLS left without baggage !

Some selfish passengers don't understand that the interest of the airline have precedence over their own comfort. Allow me to disagree. Going on a 4-day breakaway with luggage is not "comfort": it's basic. Also, if the interest of an airline differs from the interest of the passengers, th...

Re: Abnormalities at BRU / ANR / LGG / CRL / OST 2011

Strange notices on BrusselsAirport.be for SN2815 BRU-PRG (Wednesday evening):

Departure SN2815 at 22h10
Arrival SN2815R at 22h29 (BRU-BRU?)
Departure SN2815A at 23h23
Departure SN2815B at 01h04

Does this R (2815R) means the aircraft returned to Brussels?

ERJ Belgian government stranded in Niamey (Niger)

Many online newspapers report that an ERJ135/145 from the Belgian government, en route from Brussels to Kinshasa, got stuck in Niamey with a broken weather radar. The ERJ apparently left BRU on Saturday morning, and another ERJ will now pick them up ("them" = minister of Foreign Affairs + ...

OO-VLE Cityjet Fokker 50 heavily damaged at RTM Rotterdam

It seems that the landing gear of an empty Fokker-50 failed whilst the aircraft was just parked on the tarmac. Dutch news sites report that just one engineer was on board, and that an airport rep tells the aircraft OO-VLE is a total written off. Source : Rijnmond TV http://www.rijnmond.nl/Homepage/N...
