Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
If you see the expansion plans of EasyJet it is again obvious to me that SN needs A321 long range to increase destinations and frequencies (trafic rights permitting) to Western abd Central Africa. Seriously? What on earth do the plans of easyJet have in common with SN operations to Africa? You’ll p...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
DELTA KLM AF has over 35 destination in USA and DN. With sometimes 2 or 3 flights a day. Also UK is primary market, as Scandinavia and Poland. AMS and CDG are huge Hubs with many African destinations. Thanks to genius CS and his sergeants SN stands there in its underwear. UA would already have done...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
And SFB would go to the paint shop in two weeks time. Finally. About time the EW-liveries leave the fleet. (it's almost 3 years after the introduction of the new livery and only 2 long haul planes have been repainted...) 6 Aircrafts...so 4 or 5 flights to Africa ! We hare far from the hub to Africa...

I didn't see that one coming!!  EasyJet will land for the first time in Sub-Saharan Africa. It joins Vueling, already lands in Senegal and the Gambia. They tried Ghana a few years ago. The begining of an expansion in the region ? Well in France Transavia is still ahead, with several f...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024
Nice info, but some mistakes. Entebbe was alreay served before 2019 and Air Austral uses Nairobi as fuel stop when they fly from Moroni to CDG because the aircraft can't take off fully loaded from Moroni runway. Brussels-Nairobi Brussels Airlines is increasing service to East Africa in June by offer...

Re: BRU Winter 2024-2025: News, new routes, airlines
Demand, demand and demand. I don't understand why people blames always airlines. They have all Data that we don't have (yield, load factor,...). They are not philanthropic companies. At Cdg, it's the same thing, there is a huge reductions of flights to United States, during the winter Boston is only...

On the BRU website press room you can read that there will be many news routes, including Brive airport in France, flown by Amelia airlines. Did anyone know about this? I don't think it was mentioned before. Ryanair has operated Charleroi Brive route, but they have decided to end the route. Amelia ...
