Usually, when I go to DUS, I stay there until about 15h, until Emirates has departed. Then I mostly drive further to Cologne, it takes about 45 minutes when there is no traffic jam. Although the sun isn't that good anymore from 15h. on, it is still possible to take reasonable good shots until about ...

Sorry, but I don't see the added value of this message.... is your number 299 something special or what ? Seems to me this is only a meaningless contribution to this forum. Post to raise the counter or something like that ...
Oops now I'm starting too

LOG Dusseldorf - Cologne - Maastricht 03/06/2006

Went to Dusseldorf and Cologne today and, when returning home, took a small visit to Maastricht. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good... Below are the aircraft I managed to photograph today (not the complete log, only the planes that I photographed) : Dusseldorf (03/06/2006) : SX-BBU B733 Aege...

This evening I took the opportunity to go to Brussels and experimented in taking some night pictures. I need more practice I think, but nevertheless I am satisfied with the results. What do you think about it ? http://coppermine.luchtzak.be/displayimage.php?pos=-7578 http://coppermine.luchtzak.be/di...

It is true that most garbage is thrown by visitors, but nevertheless and, unfortunately, there are still some spotters who do the same. The only thing we can do about it is tell it to them when we see them throwing their garbage away. I also think that one of the major decisions to close the wall is...

I think this time it is serious. I've been following this item since a few days on Kerozen's mailing list. The arrest states that it is forbidden to take pictures from outside to the inside of the airport. Nothing is mentioned about photographing the airplanes in the air. I think this will be in the...

Why couldn't they both join Star Alliance ?
If I'm not mistaken United Airlines and U.S. Airways are also both members of Star Alliance.

The smartest thing they could have done is to place the fence on top of the hill, so the fence prevented from falling down. It sure is a very dangerous place, e.g. few months ago I saw some children playing on the hill at the back side of the concrete. Parents should watch their children, but what i...

I think one must be carefull with this kind of information. According to Justplanes, which has kept a secure record of all the orders/commitments for the year 2005, Boeing lead with 1034 orders/commitments against 812 orders/commitments for Airbus. In another article of Flight International (10/01/2...

The most important thing about VLM is that the company will stay in good financial health. There's no need to take huge risks... I've been to Manchester and to Geneva flying VLM (from Antwerp). Maybe these destinations will once be operated again.... I also hope Antwerp Airport to have more traffic ...

My first flight was on 21 august 1995.
Brussels - Bangkok with Sobelair B767-300 (OO-SBY)
I wasn't scared but it was a little bit boring : 12 hours in a very crowded airplane (and no window seats) :(
