Re: BRU 18/09/2011

From experience I know that RHO is very sensitive to ATC restrictions, due to the popularity and the restricted space available at the airport.

Don't know if this is the case today

@caveman OFF TOPIC.

I don't mind that you use abbreviations, but I suggest that if you do so : use the correct ones.

BA = British Airways and not Brussels Airlines or even Brussels Airport.

Re: Aviapartner lost handling license at BRU to Swissport

Would you care to elaborate on "bad handling" ? You seem convinced both Swissport and FC give good handling/service. Did you know Swissport planned to do same handling with half the equipment ? Did you know Swissport wanted one week extension to put down tender, as thet were bankrupt (on p...

Re: Aviapartner lost handling license at BRU to Swissport

A judge of the Tribunal of Commerce of Brussels has blocked the handling contracts granted to Swissport and Flightcare. That means that Aviapartner will remain active at Brussels Airport until a decision is reached on the full process by which these contracts were decided. The court has asked for d...

Re: EL Al 1990 request

Make my day and answer B732-B767.. Make me cry and answer B707-B727.. Afaik, LY never operated the 727. At least I never saw it at BRU nor elsewhere. I believe B707 + B732 + B757 were common LY visitors at BRU during that time. I also remeber LY to operate 732 (with additional fuel tank cpt 3) or 7...

Re: BRU 20/02/2011

@snrj85, note that not all flights are visible to everyone thru the BRU CDB, thus no info on them. BTW, if you're familiar with aviation and aviation operations, you would know that a last minute change is always possible. And about the bear and his skin : if memory serves well( have no dictionary o...

Re: 37 easyJet pax told to get off because plane too heavy!

I think it's more a question of MLW iso MTOW.

Another possiblilty is that there were tech items which prevented the a/c to perform at max weights (either zfw/tow/law) or runway length restrictions.

Great to see all this critisism. It's all very easily solved when you're inside in a warm office. I know lot's of you will no agree (and I will not comment any further), but let me assure you that bad/adverse wheather conditions such as snow/ice ALWAYS gives problems/delays/anger/frustrations,.........
