And El Al apparently has sent us a B767.
Also a nice upgrade.
Any specific reason for these nice "biggies", or just a lot of pax by coinfidence?

Maintenance at BRU

Dear, I was just wondering what companies do send their aircrafts to BRU for maintenance, and which company at which facility (SabenaTechnics / LH Technics). I've seen S7 standing at SabenaTechnics and HewaBora at LH Technics. Does anyone has an overview of the customers from Sabena / LH? Thanks, Pi...

Easyjet to move operations from AMS to BRU?

I just read on Luchtvaartnieuws.nl that Easyjet would change about 25% of their operations out of AMS to BRU if there will be an ecotax in the Netherlands. Would be nice for BRU, but I guess the Dutch government will find some kind of solution to keep Easyjet in AMS as they seem to be the second lar...

I thought the plane parked at the gate after arrival, and was pulled to a remote gate after deboarding so it doesn't block a parking position for the entire duration of the crew lay-over in BRU. Also, anybody in the know who can shed a bit of light on the loads on this flight? I've been able to see...

Parking position Ethiopean

Hello,

A small question:
When Ethiopean Airlines arrives at BRU it is parked immediately at it's remote stand and the few passengers are bussed to the terminal.

By leaving BRU, the plane is at a gate. Why the difference?
Arriving at Remote stand
Leaving at a gate.

Thanks for replying.

The BAe 146-300 from VLM (G-BPNT) was doing a flight for TNT Airways today and it was scheduled to arrive around 2000lt. This probably was your mysterious visitor. Tristar1011 I thought I saw this VLM Bae 146 at arrival around 13.15h as I returned from the airport after a flight from GVA. We landed...

There will be a focus on the Asian market, that's for sure. I also expect some new carriers from the middle east. Africa will only have more destinations if Bru.Air will start those flights. I don't expect any african carrier to come to BRU. I hope to see at least one south-american carrier at BRU. ...

The gva flights are doing well, I take them on a weekly basis, never saw below 60%... not sure how much easyjet's new flights will affect the loadfactors on the sn flights to gva. Last week it was again 80% (BRU-GVA at 6.35h) and 95% (GVA-BRU at 19.25h) Let's wait and seen on Easyjet. Their timetab...

Very interesting stuff.
Are they needed because of capacity or are the usual planes in maintenance?

Loadfactor Brussels Airlines

Hello, I'm interesting to know the loadfactor of the Brussels Airlines flights. I read on the website of AEA it was about 68% in April. I fly with Bru.Air twice a month to GVA and these flights are very well loaded, something between 80 and 100%. Can you please let me know on which flight you were a...

A = arrival = 71 passengers arriving from Paris
D = departure = 27 passengers going to Paris

Where do you find such information?
Is there somewhere an overview of loadfactors per flight, per airline, etc to be found on the internet?
It's very interesting information.
Does such a website exists?

Website Brussels Airport: problemen?

Goed gezien! :P En zonder enig precedent te scheppen...
