To be correct, they did get slots, but they canceled them.

My experience lately with Brussels Airlines is really bad I had no cancellation this year but I took the plane 10 times from Brussels to Africa and for all those flight's it didn't go on time. It makes the trip so much longer if you compare to my 15 flights I did with Lufthansa all of them departed...
