Brussels departures curb closed next Wednesday 10 Dec 08

The renovation of the departures curb is progressing well. Next Wednesday we will see the start of the next stage: placement of the surface layer.

The departure curb will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians on Wednesday 10 December 2008 from 10:00 am till presumably 8:00 pm. The access to the terminal, the parkings and the Sheraton Hotel remains open through the arrivals level.

The federal police will supervise the area and stewards will assist the drivers.

The whole curb, including the fully renovated passenger drop-off area, will be reopened at the end of December. The current temporary passenger drop-off area just beyond the passenger terminal will then cease to exist.
