Ryanair announces new Marseille route from London Gatwick

Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, today (28 Jan) announced the introduction of a new daily service from London Gatwick Airport to Marseille which will start on March 30.

Ryanair celebrated the announcement with seats on this new route from £10 including taxes for travel from 30 March. These seats are available for booking on www.ryanair.com before midnight 3 February.

Ryanair’s Laura McCormack said: “Ryanair is delighted to introduce a daily service from Gatwick to Marseille. Ryanair will continue to guarantee the lowest fares and no fuel surcharges to exciting destinations all over Europe.

To celebrate the introduction of the new Marseille route, we are offering seats from £10 including taxes. These seats will be snapped up fast and are available for booking on www.ryanair.com before midnight 3 February.”

Notes

Ryanair operates seven routes from Gatwick Airport including Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Alicante, Dusseldorf (Weeze) Barcelona (Girona) and Marseille.

Ryanair is Europe’s largest low fares airline with 31 bases and 800+ low fare routes across 26 countries. By the end of March 2009 Ryanair will operate a fleet of 195 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with firm orders for a further 70 new aircraft (all net of planned disposals), which will be delivered over the next 4 years. Ryanair currently employs a team of more than 6,000 people and expects to carry approximately 58 million scheduled passengers in the current fiscal year.
