Re: Okapi Airlines in RDC
You can always take a bet on who will start first: a domestic airline with indigenous capital wich has just applied for a licence, or a foreign airline run by foreigners which has asked for a licence more than two years ago...?

Btw: It's again so quiet around Korongo, any progress yet?
Re: Okapi Airlines in RDC
According to this article, the airline has a licence since 2010. It will operate initially with a B735 and will acquire other aircraft, especially ATRs, for a total of 6 aircraft by December. The staff comes from LAC, Air Afrique, Sabena and Air France, among others. First route: Kinsghasa-Lubumbashi 5 times a week.
Surprised by how fast it has become operational and by its growth? We're in D R Congo!
