So until end of IATA summer season. Could be that they still have to finalize the winter schedules, so we might see a 'permanent' change.
But in case of 9W it is a somewhat mix of 77W and A330 until halfway september. Seems to have more to do with a summer upgrade than a maintenance thing which forces them to use another type.

Ethiopian Airlines from 01JUN14 is starting Boeing 787 operations on Addis Ababa – Paris CDG – Brussels route, offering 6 weekly flights. This will replace existing Boeing 767 operations.

ET704 ADD2355 – 0630+1CDG0730+1 – 0835+1BRU 788 x2
ET705 BRU2000 – 2100CDG2205 – 0640+1ADD 788 x3

As a result of the last-minute aircraft changes, Ethiopian Airlines will continue to operate Boeing 767 on 4 weekly Addis Ababa – Hong Kong – Seoul Incheon route for the month of June 2014.

Most Vueling flights out of Brussels are already codesharing with Iberia. Now the flight from Brussels to Venice will also be codeshared with British Airways.

I hadn't been in Terminal B for quite a while. This has probably been reported before, but it's only today that I noticed this significant difference that occurred over there.

After passing border control I expected to just take the regular turn to the left... only to find out that this left turn is now blocked by a wall and a service gate. Instead of being able to take the shortest walk to the security control on the left, everyone is now forced to first make a turn... to the right and then make a big circle back through the narrow aisles of one of the big duty free shops there.

I'm fine with having these duty free shops around for those that are into shopping, but personally I'm not amused about having to walk through one of them, especially if it forces you to make a detour. I don't have a good first impression about how this change of infrastructure has been done, clearly not to increase the comfort of the passengers, but obviously to increase the turnover of this duty free store.

I can imagine how some passengers that are late for their flight will run through this shop in a big hurry, possibly stumbling with their hand luggage into the shelves with perfum and stuff as they try to avoid the crowd of people that is hanging around in this shop.

I assume with the Connector they will continue to operate a walk-through shop for both pier A and B (most major airports do this now, and with a very good reason from a financial point of view). But maybe the current routing is slightly different because they are redeveloping sertain sections of the airport building (part of the future connection with the new Connector building).

Actually, Flemish television VRT just reported about this Connector on Tuesday:

Hello,

Is AirLituanica still active at BRU?
With the longest days of the year, I try to spot them but I haven't seen any flight these days.

During the month of September 2014, QATAR Airways is reducing following service from Daily to 6 weekly. These routes are operated by Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

Doha – Brussels Cancelled on Wednesdays
Doha – Copenhagen Cancelled on Fridays
Doha – Oslo Cancelled on Tuesdays
Doha – Stockholm Cancelled on Mondays

I think this has something to do with 787?

Or may be with the landing of Emirates in BRU ?

In that case there is no logic in reducing frequency only during the month of September and also on these 3 routes to Scandinavia.

Could have something to do with the availability of 787's (QR is always very strict about delivery standards which sometimes results in delivery delays and after delivery by Boeing, they still have to send the aircraft to (I believe) Victorville to fit a part of their entertainment system). Could be that QR had been planning too much 787 flights in September and these routes can do with a flight less during September.

Otherwise it is coincidence that it are 4 B787 routes.
