Which spotters book: Airlines 2007 or Euro JP?

Post by killerwhale65 »

Hi,

I was wondering which of the 2 following spotters books are best:
Airlines 2007 of Euro JP 2006?
Both are about the same price. Of Airlines 2007 i can find some detailed info here: http://www.tahs.com/books/airlines.htm
But from Euro JP i dont seem to find more then the number of pages.

Who helps?

PS: i know the "big" JP is better but i find it too expensive and also too big to take on a spotterstrip.

Thanks!

Matt

Personally if you only need a book with European registrations. Plus aircraft of international airlines eg US but only listing the stuff that comes to Europe then look no further than this book, European Airline Registrations 2007 by Mach III Publishing. The price is great too.

hi,

didnt know about this one. But the price is so low that i wonder about the quality and quantity of regs. It is not mentioned how much regsitrations and airlines are included, or how much pages it contains.

Ok! I have used them for the last 3 years and I rate them very highly. Sure, for going to the US watching Southwest 737's it's not ideal, but in Europe it's the best around.
Anyway, only trying to stop you making a mistake! :dammit:

Interesting! Can you tell me how much pages it contains, and the size of the book? And if mentioned a number of registrations and/or airlines?

If possible can you make a scan of a typical page so i can see the layout?

Many thanks for your help!

I created this topic to make the choice between the books easier, instead it gets harder with every new title presented. But thanks for the title!
