Emirates @ BRU ???
Hi,
Is there something known about Emirates coming to BRU?
Red roday something in Vacature in an article about belgian pilots who go work abroad.
I quote: "Met de komst van Easyjet, Jet Airways, Etihad (uit Abu Dhabi) en Emirates doet de luchthaven van Zaventem een goede zaak. End quote.
http://magazine.vacature.com/ page 9, bottom left.
For the none dutch speaking people: It states that Brussels Airport is doing good affairs with atracking new carriers like Easyjet, Jet Airways, Etihad and Emirates
Is this just a lack of resource from the journalist or is it true?
If someone knows ...
Thanks,
Lamal

By that time some A330 or A340 will be available to launch BRU.
Just a matter of patience IMO.
BRU is in EK's pipes.
FB.
When will be the first A380 delivered to Emirates ?

Emirates will get their first A380 in August 2008 (still more than a year to go... )
Entry into service: 1 nov 2008 (by then, they 'll have received 3 of them)
source
oops, bit too late... (as I was looking for a source, wasn't that sure)

If Emirates uses A340 to LHR that will be upgrated by the first 3 A380, we can expect a nonstop DXB-BRU flight from end 2008.
