Hello;

Around 17:03LT i saw a C-17 overflying my house heading for brussels...

Does someone has more info about this visit...
Or has it something to do with the E-4B visit yesterday??

Hello,

2 C-17 arrived today:
- 17:10 RCH279 C-17 06-6156 (RWY 25R)
- 17:25 RCH280 C-17 06-6164 (RWY 25L)

Some equipment for the NATO summit I guess.

Both arrived in heavy thunderstorm with heavy showers of rain.
I witnessed RCH279 arriving on the 25R, and I must say: great pilot!
With this stormy weather, plane was of the axis 25R and he still continued the final approach and managed to land safely. Together with the dozens of lightnings, it was a great sight!

Greetz,
Rutger

Hello

I saw the second one RCH280HVY, passing above my house around 17:21LT.
Aprox. 5000ft. I first tought it was an Avro, but it looked so big, so I took my binoculars and First : it was too dark... second: too big, third: I saw that big beacon light on the belly so it really wasn't an Avro :D

Nice surprise:

By the way: I didn't knew there was a NATO-summit at Brussels this week :S or where they diverted?

Best regards: Yannick ;)

The E4 appears to have departed around 1700.
Any news on what else is at the GAT?
