Good shots Andrzej, still no the opportunity to see the QF, although 2 out of 3 passed Belgium already, the weather you now :( .

On Jan. 20 contrails were only formed between 20000-32000 ft. This meant that all props became visible from a distance. Best item of the day was undoubtly the An12 of Meridian: was noticed at a distance of at least 40 km, and believe me if the hart doesn't bounce by then, it will never bounce (matter of speaking for the contrail watchers among us of course  )

Cool shot Stef, low contrails is always a bonus. Today contrails were forming only between FL 280-310, which gave me the oppertunity to shoot some low contrailing aircraft :D

Spotted during the approach in LA and exactly the opposite of the normal contrails. The engine heat of the B777 dissipates the mist.

DC10MD11,
The Jet Airways aircraft were probably routing Brussels to New York. I dont know about the load factors but perhaps someone else on the forum knows about that.

James.
