This morning (around 8.10 I think) I saw a military plane landing on the 25R. When it was approx 10NM out I thought it was a Hercules, but it only had 2 engines. Anyone an idea what it was C-160? Casa?

This noon, around 12:30, 12:45, there was a plane that took off and followed the route that most cargos do, so basically overflying a part of Brussels. This time it wasn't a 747, but it looked like a DC-8 (not sure)... it might quite a lot of noise though. Any idea what it was?

Can somebody tell me what the reason was of this visit? Don't tell me you BRU guys have a direct link to Faroer Islands, I will faint.....("Best kept secret island" according to some media, others tell "most beautiful woman" ;) )

A bit expensive copenhagen to faroer islands (monopoly? ) . Same with Copenhagen - to Greenland , (Kangerlussuaq)

It was a Transall. French Air Force I think ? Sorry for the poor quality, I was about 2km far from him.

I’m pretty sure it was a DC-8, reg VP-BHM. Look at the fourth picture of this link :

That was B707 LX-N19997, came out after one month's maintenance. Source BRU movements.
