The flight is still not loaded in any booking engine. Were there fligths from Brussels to Chinisau before? Is Air Moldova using its Airbus A320 on the route? Does anyone have an idea about the frequency?
Do you think to route will last or do you think it is another Albanian Airlines story?

They plan to fly to BRU. They didn't say when they are going to do it. So it can be S11 as well.Atlantis wrote:

But indeed, if they will start flights to BRU it will probably something like 1-3 weekly with their E190 (it's not an E195, Atlantis ).
Re: BRU winter 2010-2011: latest news, routes, airlines
With their E190 indeedMR_Boeing wrote:They plan to fly to BRU. They didn't say when they are going to do it. So it can be S11 as well.Atlantis wrote:

Re: BRU winter 2010-2011: latest news, routes, airlines
It seems they will be cancelling the afternoon flights (5 times weekly), indeed. But instead, they are also adding a nightstop flight to Brussels (6 times weekly), thus actually increasing the weekly services with one frequency overall. This allows for better connections and will attract more business travellers.sdbelgium wrote:Hmm, that's strange indeed. Will try to figure it out...
Thanks for the one pointing this out to me, he will know what I mean.

SkyWorks Airlines starts in febr. 2011 with direct flights from Brussels to Bern and Angers.
Re: BRU winter 2010-2011: latest news, routes, airlines
In fact, the airline will fly from Bern to Angers with a stopover in Brussels.Boeing767copilot wrote:SkyWorks Airlines starts in febr. 2011 with direct flights from Brussels to Bern and Angers.

I don't know them, but it's nice to see them comming to BRU.
Re: BRU winter 2010-2011: latest news, routes, airlines
So in fact it's two different legs: a leg Bern - Brussels and a leg Brussels - Angers. Can't imagine anyone wants to fly between Bern and Angers with a stopover in Brussels, which is over twice the distance of a direct flight. But anyhow it will be nice to see a new airline in Brussels.

Sky Work Airlines is more a private airline. But lately they are opening more and more routes from big European cities to Bern.MR_Boeing wrote:I don't know them, but it's nice to see them comming to BRU.
In the past, a few years ago, we had also a skylink between Billund and Bern via Brussels. BA was the operator with a Dornier.

BRU-LNE ?! Angers is a beautiful city (I do remember my student life there!!!) but where does the potental come from? Is SN be part of the project?
Re: BRU winter 2010-2011: latest news, routes, airlines
Another problem is that there's a daily direct High Speed Train to Tours and Poitiers, so if those are your destinations, I don's see why one would fly...

The flights will be operated 10 times weekly (two daily on weekdays) as from 15 November operated by Central Connect Airlines with Saab 340 aircraft with 33 seats.
