The Bulgaria Air (A319 LZ-FBA) just took off from 07R heading back to Sofia!
As well as the Kuwait Airways (B772 9K-AOA), back to Kuwait City!

Interesting tool, despite of the 15 minutes delay.

Is there perhaps another site that shows real time EBBR traffic for free?

Thanks

Hello,

A plane is taking off from LHR.( BA B747)

But I think the airport will remain closed for landings.

Greetings,
All my posted timings are local !

When would the remaining heavies leave BRU for LHR? This night as offered by Schouppe, or would it rather be tomorrow morning/noon?

I updated the first post. The Royal Jordanian A332 left some 10 minutes ago for Amman.

BRU is closed for arrival at the moment. Several planes (ABX, Aer Lingus, Finnair, Vueling, Malev, Maroc ...) holding around FLORA and KERKY.

Edit 21.47LT: arrival re-opened, rwy 02. Take-offs also from 02.

Visibility was poor, but there were at aroud 19:45 at Brucargo : B744F Korean, B773 Jet Airways, A310 Royal Jordanian (A300 or A310, I'm not sure, but it was a RJ tail) and two or three other 747 (one of them is probably a Saudi Arabian). The 772 Biman is still at the same parking position than yesterday, but this time without any obstacles.

I rather use radarvirtuel.com because it's possible to search plane on the basis of their destination. Either it's not possible with Casper or I didn't find the way to do it yet.

Two interesting articles of the BBC on why Heathrow was a chaos when Helsinki was easily coping with worse conditions:

Quite late, but here's a few more pictures of the diverted aircraft that were meant for LHR on Dec 18.
I wish all at Luchtzak a wonderful 2011 with plenty of good picture opportunities @ BRU, good health and fun to yourselves and all who are dear to you.
