The B777 British Airways left BRU at 04:19 to LHR

Landed at 07:58 instead of CDG : B738, OK-TVD, Travel Service, as TVS1034

Information from Jet Airways: Guests whose flights were diverted to Brussels, will be travelling to London today. The aircraft is awaiting de-icing.

VT-JEH (Jet Airways B77W) just departed to LHR as JAI122D.

Remaining (non-cargo) heavies at BRU if I am right: Arik Air A340, Egyptair A330, American Airlines B777, Biman Bangladesh B777, Asiana Airlines B777 & Kingfisher Airlines A330.

BRUSSEL - Wegens een gebrek aan de-icing- vloeistof wordt overwogen om het vliegverkeer op Brussels Airport te beperken. Wellicht gaat de luchthaven zelfs helemaal dicht.
De-icing-vloeistof wordt gebruikt om het ijs op de vleugels van vliegtuigen te verwijderen. Momenteel is er een groot tekort aan dit product.

Luchtvaartmaatschappijen hebben het de afgelopen dagen massaal gebruikt. Bovendien zorgt de toestand op de wegen en het vrachtwagenverbod in Frankrijk voor moeilijkheden bij de aanvoer van de-icing-vloeistof. Volgens een woordvoerder van de luchthaven zal de aanvoer van de vloeistof pas vanaf woensdag weer normaal kunnen verlopen.

Schade

Het beperken van het luchtverkeer betekent een serieuze schadepost voor Brussels Airport en Brussels Airlines. Toen door een staking van de luchtverkeersleiders het luchtverkeer gedurende 18 uur werd stilgelegd, betekende dat een schadepost van 1 miljoen euro voor Brussels Airlines.

Landed around 12:45 at BRU instead of AMS : B744F Singapore Airlines Cargo, as SQC7372,reg. 9V-SFJ

SAS already cancelled a flight SK4745/4746 Oslo will not operate today ..

Anyone aware why AA89 took the 25L for departure today at 14:40? 4-hour delay and even more wait to backtrack. Very unusual.

Brussels Airport is organising busses (and ferries) to get the last stranded passengers to London.

Asiana also gone ( HL7500)

So still 5 diverted planes should be at BRU.
