The 744F is holding there now for about an hour and a half.

LGG is closed at the moment, but CRL is opened and I believe it's gonna land there.

Edit: wrong, BRU it is. :)

Strang thing that an airport remains open while runway conditions are: POOR - POOR - MEDIUM POOR and aircrafts can hardly take-off or land.

Extreme winter conditions!! I hope it stops soon!

closing an airport because of heavy snow happens everywhere. (even if it shouldn't, let europe clean that).
but saying ok we have no deycing liquid, oh yes we do, we'll close the airport for 3 days, oh no we won't is a bit different, imo.
But people like to understand what they want :)

all together, i still feel our country is the 3rd world.
This mess should not happen.

i'm not blaming BRU, I have nothing against BRU. I'm blaming those people (from flightcare, but also the client who don't ask SLA) who don't invest a lot because "we almost have no snow in belgium" or because "yeah well, we cannot have snow 2 or 3 years in a row".
I'm also blaming the communication team of BRU which made us (belgium) look like morons when they annonced it, and made us look like total morons again when they annonced everything is normal.
Some people are faulty (whatever company they work in) and should be punished. If you don't do your job right, you get fired.

I'm not angry because something failed. I'm agry because we were not prepared.
If you block a highway because you don't have snow tires, you should be slapped
if you block the highway with snow tires, we may understand

Hi all,

it seems that SN359 to Kinshasa and Luanda has been cancelled and rerouted as SN1359.

Still a problem with the political situation at Abidjan ?
