Too bad it was overcast, so we couldn't see the BAF escort. We did hear them though ;)
Touch down was at 12:17 zulu.
Shortly after Qatar's 330 we had a Luftwaffe 320-series and an Etihad 330 too, nice day...

Personally I never saw any passenger widebody landing on 25R, but always on 25L... But if you're talking about cargo aircrafts, they always land on 25R to avoid long taxiing.

Yes now I know... let's just say I'm not generally spotting when the w/b are landing (see my apology post above) ;)

I was about to ask, as I saw the Luftwaffe one in my rear mirror when I drove out of the tunnel under 25L and wasn't so sure about it (too bad I left immediately after the QR A330!).

For those who could not be there:

Sorry for the poor quality due to the weather and point and shoot camera. Well, after all, it is just an A330 from QR :)

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony for its new five-a-week services at Brussels Airport on Monday, CEO Akbar Al Baker said the increase to daily will be “very soon”.

Sounds very positive!

Thank you all for these nice pics. Even though I couldn't be there, it made me happy.
With the stupid low cloudbase, didn't see the F16's but heard them roar over Brussels...

Don't know if it's true, but I heard the loads for the first weeks were very good. And Etihad increasing it's schedule to 8 weekly, there most be some (transfer) market between Belgium and the UAE. Although in the case of QR, it wouldn't surprise me if NATO and/or the US government fills a good part of the plane...
