Thomas Cook Airlines renews fleet (incl. in Belgium)

Thomas Cook Airlines will renew its entire fleet in Belgium, Germany, Great-Britain and Scandinavia. For Belgium it means 6 new aircraft.

The first aeroplanes willl be delivered in 2012 or early 2013 and the last ones two years later. Thomas Cook Belgium has selected the Airbus A320.

Altogether the renewal involves 71 aircraft.

He meant " if they renew the whole fleet of Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium it would be 7 aircraft", because 6 is mentionned in the first post. I assume he is smart enough to know that it's about the whole fleet in Europe, he just reacted on the part of the TC Belgium replacement.

For next season TCW will operate only 6 A320's, all 6 will be replaced, all will have the new winglets (sharklets). Only the first 2 will arrive with the old wingtipfences and will be retrofitted with sharklets later on.
