This airlines is really becoming a kind of virtual airlines, witch airlines will operate the flight this year then? SN? Privilege? Others?

I believe next summer there will be six aircraft in the Thomas Cook fleet, at least that's what I heard!

Yes, probably. But they are also merging the operations of subsidiaries in different countries, hence they could well use aircraft from sister companies in other countries.

Will they again be looking on the second-hand market?

Indeed, next summer, 6 aircraft WOULD be flying again in the TCAB-fleet. One of the 2 which will join the fleet is G-TCAD A320 (MSN2114) from Thomas Cook UK. The other one is not sure yet (at least, for me).

Greetings,
D-AICA will arrive in BRU on 30th November (HQ714T, 18h30lt, from FRA). It will fly for us, but I seriously doubt we will fly with it...

Can we split the discussion about TCAB into a new topic? Should become an interesting topic...

Hello everybody,
I read on Airliners.net that the current 4 aircraft of Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium will fly until their current leasing contract expire.
It is also said Condor and Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium will be merged into Thomas Cook Airlines (UK).

Is it true?

The Condor A320 will arrive november 30th (the day that OO-TCI goes into maintenance in Manchester) and stays until februari 2014. Then 2 A320's will be added before april 2014 (1 of them is from Thomas Cook UK).
So 6 Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium under OO- registry (1 A319 and 5 A320).
Condor, TCAB, TCAS (Thomas Cook Scandinavia) and TCX (UK) are merged together (end 2013) into Thomas Cook Airlines Group (but maintaining their own AOC).
When leasing contract of other A320's (TCI, TCJ or TCH) end, they will probably then be replaced by ex-Condor aircraft (as they receive brand new A320's)

The number of flights operated by SN and Privilege will be less then last year, as number of aircraft goes from 5 to 6 again.

This is the plan, rest are rumors.

That means that the older planes come to Belgium while Germany gets the newer once? Jetairfly, part of TUI, has a quite different policy: the most modern fleet in Belgium.
