EK183/184 operated by a B77W A6-EBN iso B77L, seems Emirates is doing better then they expected. If this continues for another 6 months we can expect an A380 and say farewell to Jet and co..
Re: BRU 07/09/2014
Or more space for cargo .... !
Re: BRU 07/09/2014
The B77W will come to BRU beginning next year. The L is only temporarely, due to aircraft availibility. Wil be good for cargo. Up to 30 tons each flight. A380 will never come as BRU can not have them and are not category Evairport, with exception for 747-8F. Visit of LH380 came with special procedures and was an exception.
Re: BRU 07/09/2014
BRU is not ready to handle an A380, because it doesn't have to be. They don't exactly expect A380 operations to start anytime soon, so why invest the money (lots of money) in a lost cause?BRU wrote:A380 will never come as BRU can not have them and are not category Evairport, with exception for 747-8F.
If EK decides to start A380 operations, and the funds are available (through whichever way), I don't see why BRU couldn't become an A380 airport.
Not that BRU-DXB would need an A380, at least not right now, but we can always see what the future holds.
As it stands, once B77W operations start, the EK planes will be amongst the largest passenger planes in BRU, anyway.

And first started with only one 777 a day. After some years it became 1 A380 a day and nowadays it is an A380 in the afternoon and in the evening a 777
Greetings,
All my posted timings are local !
