Yes, it can happen. Ethiopian, Hainan Airlines have even much longer layover at BRU. Due to commercial and practical reasons it's more interesting to stay here at BRU for a while before they fly back.chineseboy wrote:asianlao02 wrote:Thank you. Almost a layover of 5h at BRU, is that normal?
A 5 hour layover for a long haul flight is not much. Moreover, it's a common schedule for Japanese airlines with a layover in Europe between 4 - 6 hours.chineseboy wrote:Almost a layover of 5h at BRU, is that normal?

In Y, definitely JAL which has still a 2-4-2 configuration, vs. the 3-3-3 of ANA.chineseboy wrote:If we can choose between ANA or JAL, which one do you prefer and why?
Indeed!Stij wrote:No africa connections as predicted by me!

Puts this statement in a different spotlighttolipanebas wrote:Yes, and very soon indeed; already this autumn!
Nice lobbying from the Belgian government, BRU and SN combined.
Shows you that when they work together, they can achieve much more than just low cost riff raff.
More information on frequencies, schedule and SN code shares to come...
Oh, cool.SN501 wrote:Source: http://airlineroute.net/2015/06/28/nh-bru-w15/Code: Select all

ANA has 2 versions of the 787 with 2-4-2 in Y, think those were the ones first delivered to them.sn26567 wrote:In Y, definitely JAL which has still a 2-4-2 configuration, vs. the 3-3-3 of ANA.chineseboy wrote:If we can choose between ANA or JAL, which one do you prefer and why?
Let's go back in time, to 1972: the SN B707 was flying once a week via Anchorage with this quite different timetable:Inquirer wrote:Oh, cool.SN501 wrote:Source: http://airlineroute.net/2015/06/28/nh-bru-w15/Code: Select all

If I am not mistaken, this Is roughly the schedule the Sabena flight used to fly on
Code: Select all
SN353 BRU1145 - 1000ANC1100 - 1345+1NRT
SN354 NRT2200 - 0940ANC1035 - 0640+1BRU
Indeed, but apparently it's the high-density configuration that will come to BRUBralo20 wrote:ANA has 2 versions of the 787 with 2-4-2 in Y, think those were the ones first delivered to them.
A quick count shows that the timetable allows for roughly fifteen connections to/from other SN served European cities, which may not seem a lot, butlumumba wrote:I don't understand this timetable is not so good for the euro connection most of the flight's of Brussels arrives between 19h00 and 20h15 ......For the bags transfer you need at least 1h or more!!!!!!
if this will indeed be the definitive configuration, ANA must be counting on a high number of high yield O&D pax.Bralo20 wrote:C46Y+ 21Y 102
