For those who wonder, what I meant with my post was the LOOP program and 'Boeing767copilot' was pointing at the same (by even saying the name LOOP, that's why his post was moderated yesterday). I expected some new destinations, but didn't knew anything concrete about that.

And the censored items was the new loyalty programme LOOP, as explained in another topic.

So, NTE, NUE and LNZ are not gonna happen?

Did Emirates Skycargo commenced flights to BRU? It looks that there is a ORD-BRU-DWC flight. It is now the second week they fly this route.

I think Emirates changed CPH for BRU on this route... EK 9998

Yes, they did since start winter schedule. And correct they replace CPH by BRU.

The Emirates Skycargo is a nice substitute of the Ethiopian that we have lost to Maastricht.
The schedule is on a daily base?

EK is coming four times a week. So, in net, a loss of one T7 rotation a week.

A loss is a loss. ET Cargo is lost with the many flights they had per week. To lose them was unexpected.
EK Cargo is indeed a new cargo player which was on the radar of one of the three new cargo players they want to attract before the end of this year.
So you lose much more then only one T7 rotation.

I know, but it stems the loss of ET a bit. I 'ld rather have seen them come on top of what was there. But I'm glad EK is replacing them almost 1 on 1.

With three candidates indeed and one of them is now already flying on the airport, EK. But bear in mind that only one or maybe two of the three on our tarmac will be a big achievement as it is not easy and this is also the current target.

According to Amadeus (16 NOV 2015 ), Brussels Airlines will reduces service to Bujumbura (Burundi), from 29 November 2015. Due to the reduction of service to Burundi, the Wednesday flight to Kigali will be operated via Entebbe, as SN471.

To be more specific, the loss is much bigger.

At this moment Emirates Skycargo is operating only twice a week cargo flights via BRU. By the end of the year it will be increased to 4 times a week.

BUT, we speak, in case of EK, about transit cargo flights. BRU is a stopover between Chicago and Dubai. So the cargo is not fully loaded off and loaded on. So the loss in cargo of ET is much bigger.

And that is exactly why I specified 'rotation'.
The shipped cargo volume (un-)loaded will be indeed significantly less. But the number of flights will not.

From 7 December bmi Regional are improving the flight schedule between East Midlands and Brussels to offer better flight times, convenience and more flexibility. Improved departure times from East Midlands Airport means you avoid the hassle of the red eye early morning flights but still allows you a full day’s work in Brussels. Plus, codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines offers the opportunity to continue journeys to destinations across Europe, Africa and America.

Nice addition.

They seem to have made it a habit of launching these kind of secondary German routes in the middle of IATA seasons. I think Bremen also got launched that way.
