The airline has Italian shareholders and ranks among the domestic and European market leaders since its mission is to face increasingly demanding and complex challenges.

Created to service the main Italian airports, the European capitals, and the tourist resorts of the Mediterranean basin.
Blue Panorama Airlines is the result of a project with clear-cut objectives, offering tailor-made solutions to those who are willing to fly high.

Saw them allready in Milan Malpensa (MXP)

The Blue Panorama Boeing 737-400's registration surprises me...

LX-LGG is indeed a Boeing 737-4C9 belonging to Luxair.

Both 737-4C9s had been offered on the second-hand market in late 2003 for disposal by 03/2004.

From what I could understand, Luxair had changed its mind and was to keep the 737-4C9s in the fleet whereas the 737-500s were to leave it.

From what I can see in the picture it looks like the bird is either leased to the operator or has been sold to Blue Panorama.

Any extra information is welcome...

Ok, thanks for the info! :)
And what I notice now is, if you look to the fifth picture, the one of Thomas Cook airways, you can see, that it miss his back. What happened with his back?? Does anyone know what was happened?

The tailcone is in repair, the Airbus Beluga came to pick it up: https://www.aviation24.be/postt4027.html

It got damage after an accident, watch this pictures: http://coppermine.luchtzak.be/thumbnails.php?album=58

Was surprised to see a Blue Panorama too. I saw them already once at the Sharm-el-Sjeik airport. It's nice to see them 'back' (it's a Luxair plane, which was a surprise for me too...)

Where were you standing? I was @ the "less populated" side of 02, when I drove to Zaventem-centre I passed a lot of people (around 16h-16h30), maybe you were there ;) (edit: just read in your easter-egg topic that it was you who was playing a sitting duck in the bushes :D )

The Blue Panorama passed by when I arrived on the top floor of the parking next to Hangar 40, here's the first pic I took

That one was painted inside the hangars by Sabena Technics if I can remember.
