Hi Bottie,

20 minutes after the Egyptair departure, MK landed. Would have been two movements :)

THose are some nice pics on a very boring day in OST with only one movement.

Luckely there are always some Russian birds parked at the apron of OST you can write down in your book as planes you spotted out there.

Best Regards,
Yvo

"Just one plane"

And people complain about how boring Brussels is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know which runway I'd rather sit by in an evening - I go and sit at 25L take reading material and often can't concentrate for arrivals - even if they are only SNBA RJ's.

When you look from the point of taking pictures, EBOS is one of the top airports in Europe.
Strongly advised is to go for a week or so, then you really can obtain quality stuff.

I went a lot to EBOS in the twilight years of the B707, and i must say i loved it.
In fact it was an experience never to forget like this PIC tells.

Nowadays the smokey An12 steels the show..hopefully for years to come.

Only one of the pictured 707's is active today, the far white one flies currently with Wimbi Dira Airways (Congo).
The other aircrafts are w/o or stored in poor conditions @ various locations.
Also not a single company on the picture has survived the present.
The last 707 movement @ EBOS was the SU-AVZ of Air Memphis on March 31.
As U probable know is currently stored in Cairo after a tyre bursted on t/o on April 2.
