Yesterday, July 4th, OO-ETA, an Embraer E295, performing flight TB1104 (JAF6AC), from ALC to ANR diverted to BRU for unknown reasons.
It seems the decision was made early on to divert, since an approach at ANR was not performed.
The aircraft in question flew BRU-ANR after a little more than one hour on the ground.

It might be due to storm Poly, which hit Northern France and Belgium before reaching the Netherlands. Although the peak of Poly in Belgium was in the middle of the night.

Certainly not. The winds were far from exceeding any limit.

A PC12 (reg. PH-BRA) coming from Geneva diverted to BRU. Three other incoming private flights were cancelled.

Suspicious man taken off TUI plane and arrested at Antwerp Airport
A suspicious person was arrested Friday afternoon at Antwerp Airport. This is confirmed by the airport staff. The man walked to the end of the E295 plane OO-ETA, apparently confused, but then suddenly remembered that he had an appointment and didn't want to go anymore. He was administratively detained by the federal police for an hour because of his strange behavior.

On 20 August, Air Belgium flight KF2305 from Brussels to Johannesburg (Airbus A330-900 reg. OO-ABF) made a U-turn above Algeria and returned to Brussels. The aircraft hasn't left Brussels since then. Technical problem?

They were denied Gabon airspace access. SFX night-stopped in FIH as a result. Normally SFX has a good 11 hours endurance with full load (which was far from being the case yesterday, barely 150 pax), I hope they refuel the aircraft promptly next time... #amateurism

Nice story of a competition bike lost in transit at Brussels airport after arriving from Lyon on Brussels Airlines before it should have gone to the US on United Airlines. A Brussels Airport employee eventually saved the situation after some 10 days!
