LOG BRU Saturday 21/08/'04 9am-8pm

Post by Sabena_690 »

Hi all,

Went to BRU with my 'chef' at work where I'm doing a summerjob this year! He likes planes, and wanted to see BRU from close.

This log is covering all movements from 9am till 8pm.

Only one request: the Finnair A319 that left around 19.30h.

I am hoping to bag the VLG sometime, photo or video I don't mind which.

The Singapore Cargo 747 is also very high on my list because I've missed it twice now - usually because it has arrived just as I've packed away my video cameras, or it has not been in a good place for me to get a photo of it.

The An124 of course goes without saying.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

x SQC flies to BRU several times a day, you will be very unlucky when you don't catch it

x VLG flies to BRU 2x daily

Not at all. Your quick and precise response triggered my admirative comment. Even the admins are sometimes surprised by the knowledge of the members.

Why shouldn't members have knowledge? Why does it surprise the admins that members do know what they are talking about?

We know very well that our members (even the female ones) have an extended knowledge of aviation matters. However, it sometimes does surprise us that they come up with an answer almost before the question is asked.

Did somebody say so? When? Where?

:offtopic:
Sorry, Comet, but for me, "Even the admins are sometimes surprised by the knowledge of the members" does not mean that the admins are surprised that members do know what they are talking about, but that they are surprised by the extent of the knowledge of their members. Problem of semantics! :offtopic:

Can we go back to the topic now?
