Nice shots, thanks for sharing them with us.

It's great to see that Brussels still get some B747's.

Hello AirforceNiels,

Am I correct that you use a D70 ?
What settings do you use because surely you captured some nice a/c but the quality could be better ?!

So nice to see pictures of Brussels when you are not home for a long time! When I see this I sometimes wish I would be back to go on spotting!!

Hello

Nice pics as a birthday present for me :D . Although you make me jaleous...but only if the MS flight of that day would have been a 777 of 340/330 I would have gone spotting him...but badly enough it didn't happened. Anothere weird think I find.

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Hello

Chris...you know what I find weird?

That All airlines are sending their big Equip these days except Egypt Air , it has been what some time since they sended a big one. How long would it have been ago?one month , two months? We don't even get a AB6 anymore , and THAT'S what I call weird in the beginning of the summer season.

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Well they most probably earn more money by sending their bigger planes to other destination. The answer is as simple as that... ;) It's not so weird at all IMHO

Nice pictures: this particular soundbarrier seems to be a very good spot to take pictures from, as I noticed before.

I have tried, however, to find this spot myself for a couple times, so far without success.

The first time I took the N227 to Steenokkerzeel, parked my car near the newly build roundabout and walked along the new bypass road. I came to a fence but didn't see any possiblity to climb on the (huge) soundbarrier.

Then someone told me I had to go to the local cemetery, park there and walk from there. So I did, but somehow, again I got lost. No chance of climbing on that huge wall!

Anyone who can tell me where I went wrong, cause BRU is very nice when you're a photographing spotter from EIN :D

Thanx for your kind help.

Grtz.

MikeLima,

When you are on the newly build N227 and when you get to the new roundabout you park your car somewhere. From there you will see on one side of the road a new fence which is grey and where you caznnot see through and on the other side of the road you will see the "wall". To get on top of the wall just cross the road and start walking on the grass until you get against the wall itself.

Well thank you Chris, sounds simple enough. I will give it a try and let you know when I succeeded
