new Belgian Aviation Hobby Store: MicroWings

Post by killerwhale65 »

Dear visitors,

MicroWings is a new webshop that will sell all kinds of aviation related hobby items, such as scale models, DVD's, books ...
We do not have a real store (yet), but you are free to visit us at our home address. If you are living nearby, or have to be in the neighbourhood, it is perfectly possible to pick up your order and pay cash.

At the moment our offer is still small (only a selection of Herpa 1:500 scale models), but we do intend to expand over the coming months and years. For example, we are expecting to sell DVD's before the summer. And later we will offer you an even bigger choice of Herpa models (different scales) and perhaps also other manufacturers.

To celebrate our opening, we are having some special pomotions going on (see our frontpage).

special offer for Luchtzak users
Luchtzak users can use a special discount code to get a 5% discount on their first purchase!

To take advantage of this, you need to enter the following code during checkout (under "discount coupons"):
  • LUCHTZAK
Note that you can only use this code once!

Also interesting to know, is that with every purchase you are getting MicroMiles. MicroMiles is a customer reward system. You get the miles for every purchase, and you can save them until you decide to use them to pay for one of your future purchases. MicroMiles never expire, so you can redeem them next month but also in 2 years.

Now enough talking, please visit our store at MicroWings!

Thank you.

Dear visitor,
It has come to our attention that some people were bothered by an irritating commercial popup when visiting MicroWings. We were unaware of this, and this popup has not been implemented in the site by us. We have found the cause however and managed to remove the popup.

We sincerely appologise for the inconvenience caused by this, and we hope that you can now enjoy your stay at MicroWings even more.

If by any chance you should see commercial ads on this site which are not related to our webshop, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Just received my Sabena Fleet DVD's, thanks for the fast shipping & the extra Airways magazine! Will have to wait until after my exams to watch the DVD unfortunately, but it'll be worth the waiting!

Next on the list: Spectacular Sint-Maarten , when the birthday money has come :D

hi,

@ Buzz: glad you are happy! I am sure you will enjoy every minute of the DVD and magazine.

@ Advisor: i think thats just a matter of taste. Personally i also like the Emirates more, cause it has something "exotic". (and its also a bit cheaper :D)

Gee thanks guys....I think i shall go in for the A380 of Emirates. And i think since KillerWhale is a fellow Luchtzaker, i shall feel at home to buy from here.

I feel grateful to you all for suggesting and guiding me.

I just bought the Emirates A380, what a great website, but quite dangerous for my credit card.... :D Can't wait to receive it. This is a great website since it is more and more difficult to find shops in Belgium.
Thanks for your website, I sure will buy my herpa models there from now on and maybe a DVD.

Are you gonna get all the new releases of Herpa?
Cheers
Laurent

hi,

thanks for your order Laurent. Will jump on my bike first thing tomorrow morning and go to the Kiala dropoff point to send your package.

I will eventually folow the whole Herpa range, but this takes time. I do my best to have a nice and various collection in stock at all time.

New models and DVD's are on the way ...

hi,

Herpa only has 2 discontinued models from Air India in scale 1:500 (B747-400 and A310). They also have a Lockheed L-1011-500 not yet discontinued, but its scale 1:400.

Any chance you can source the Air India in 1:500 B747-400, I notice some site claiming they have it, but i feel better to deal with you.
