B772 BA165 emergency descent into BRU

Post by simulator »

just noticed BAW165 (B772) operating LHR/TLV entering Belgian airspace at FL390, then suddenly making (what it seems...) high speed descend when overhead Tielt and landing at BRU...
anybody knows what happened?

Plane now parked at a remote stand with fire brigade investigating its front cargo hold and one container taken out of it...
It seems like they may have had an indication of a cargo bay fire or smoke or something...
Most probably a false warning though, as no fumes were seen...

Did the pax disembark? (It might raise a security issue in a plane bound to TLV...)

Another BAW 772 is in descent for / landed at BRU, so I guess the aircraft is out of service (peobably not a very professional term, but hey)

Cheers mates,

Speedbird 9155 (B777) landed minutes ago, to pick up pax for TLV.

Look at the post of Tolipanebas to know what happened.
