Re: BRU 15/02/2013
Hi,
Noticed an italian reg. Neos B737 on the gate...
Also a ground staff which asked for my permit to take a pic of the aircraft WTF !
If it's needed where can I apply.. ? Think he was bit bossy,,, pity,..light was nice..
Seems some airport staff is still thinking BRU as an airforce base or so,..
but don't see a clearvreason for this behaviour which seems to apply from time to time!
Pity,..

Hi
cathay belgium : hmm yeah that is possibly if you took it from the apron or maybe from within the 'connecto'/'jetway'. Because that will probably already be considered 'airside' and so far as I know you CAN take pictures airside , but you indeed need to have a registered permit (don't know how it works).
However if it's from the terminal, no one has any reason nor right to say something about it because you will be international transit zone.
But hey these ground steward(s)esses /security always try to play smartass and pretend that they are a 'big shot' but don't you try to argue with them ... because they will ALWAYS be right (just as much as FA's are always right about turning of your camera or it will disturb the aircraft systems, even in the back of a 747 ... no matter what credible and/or professional proof/background you have , that it doesn't do so....).
