Was some minutes ago on the Ring (between Leonard and 4 Bras /4 Armen) when I saw a part of wave 3 (Good reason for respecting the speed limit ), but did not see the A400M... (only the C130, C160, A330, ERJ145). But what a sight !

Indeed there wasn't any A400 above Brussels today.

Bad coordination of the three air waves with the ground parade. The 2nd and 3rd waves should have gone over the royal palace during intermissions in the ground parade, but they passed in the middle of other ground units, causing some jam!

And the aircraft were too low and/or too far to the South, and thus had their passage in front of the grandstand (and the TV) hidden half of the time by the Royal Palace.
This year, the grandstand were not open towards the Park of Brussels, but towards the palace. This may have disturbed the pilots.

Reason is that the New King and Queen made an appearance on the balcony of the Royal Palace. This was exceptional and as from next year the grandstand should be back at its normal position, open towards the Park of Brussels.
