Unusual to see SAS with an OH registration, knowing that Finland have no part in SAS.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

It's a mistake. It should be OY-KHP.

Thanks for correcting André and Louise.

I was very tired yesterday evening. I just corrected the mistake in my log.

I wasn't criticising or anything, I meant it literally as I said it, just unusual really. Haven't Finnair sometimes leased out their MD8*s to other operators? I have seen another Finnish carrier with a Finnair-type registration on an MD8*. They ususally had OH-LM* from what I remember of them.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Louise,

Indeed the low cost carrier Flying Finn was using OH-LMS & R. Sadly they went bust.
Ac's were leased from Aviation 49252 Corp & Aviation 49284 Corp respectively, so not directly from AY.

Thanks Potkuri, that's what I was thinking of but I could not remember the airline's name or which aircraft they had  There was once an article about them in Airliner World and that's where I saw the AY registered aircraft.

Don't worry Louise, I knew you weren't criticising ;)

By the way I forgot to mention that I still have one request:

I saw an AF CRJ land at 18h51

Thanks

Ow fantastic !!!!

I was on board of the OO-VAC from TUB yesterday !!!!
It landed on 25L at around 1815 local time. 1 hour later it left to MIR.

Would it be possible to get a pic ?
If yes , just mail me at Pierre.Wilmet@ivao.org

I'm really sorry TUB001, but OO-VAC is a regular visitor to BRU. That's why I decided to take a picture of that plane BUT with totally different settings to make some tests with the camera. Unfortunately the tests weren't very sucessful and the one and only picture of OO-VAC is not looking very nice.
I've tried to shoot with a shutterspeed of only 1/4 sec to obtain a motionblur effect, but I'm not an expert yet in that kind of shots and the plane doesn't look very sharp either :( (in addition to that there are some flies in the picture :( )

But if you want I will still send you the picture.

Just tell me if you want the picture or not.

And next time tell us in advance when you will be landing in BRU and on which flight, and you will get a very nice picture ;)

Whoops,
Looks like the SA Cargo hits the runway pritty hard again.
They must be a very nice smell for the people standing in the wind direction where the rubber smell was going to.

Great Pics Chris. Thanks for sharing.

Best Regards,
Yvo

Chris
Can someone do that with my holiday flight when it lands in BRU? On that flight I won't even be able to take any video on the approach/touchdown because I will be using my video camera instead of my digital camera.

My flight is SN2174, a lunchtime arrival from MAN, on 6th September.

I'm sorry Louise, but I'm not here the coming weekend and most probably monday as well :( Otherwise I would have done it with pleasure.
