Recently to commemorate the birth centenary of J.R.D Tata who pioneered civil aviation in the country and also to mark the 50th year of Air Marshall Subroto Mukherjee taking charge as the first Indian Chief of Air Staff, the INDIAN AIR FORCE and AIR INDIA jointly organised a air show with a virtuoso display.
Static Display at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Sahar, on October 14 and 15, showcased fighter aircrafts such as the Jaguar, MiG-29, Mirage-2000, MiG-21, MiG-27, and the SU-30 as well as helicopters, missiles, and mobile radars. Air India also put on display a Boeing 747-400 from its fleet.
To all avid fans of plane spotting here is a treat for the eyes.
