I'm surprised no one mentioned here or in the discontinued routes thread that Wizzair cancelled its route BRU-BUD that many ppl were looking fwd to.
I saw they dropped this service at the beginning of July after only a couple of days of service. Do you know if it will be back?

Re: Impact of the coronavirus on aviation
Why is Milan Malpensa still open? That's also what I'm wondering, I have three flights to and from Malpensa and Bergamo next week and so far, FR hasn't cancelled any of them, whilst, we, Belgians are not allowed to go there unless we want to be stuck there till at least 3 April! I really wanted to ...

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR
Makes no sense to me why landings are not on 07L this morning, look at the wind direction & strength!
yesterday they used it even with lighter winds from 030 and 040 ! I'm often puzzled at Skeyes decision regarding the runway in use.

El Al missed approach this morning. But fortunately, after two more landings on 01 of other flights, the runway changed to 07L which meant a shorter second approach

Re: News from Pegasus Airlines (PGS)
Sabiha Gokcen Airport will have a second runway possibly by the end of this year. After that, they have plans to close the first runway to give a good well deserved maintenance. Once the first runway comes back to operations and both runways running together I think PGS will increase their flight n...

As from 15:00 UTC (13/12/2018) the approach procedure(s) for RWY 07L/07R using RNP may not be used anymore. The BUB DVOR will be fully operational and may be used for instrument approach procedures : VOR RWY 07R - VOR RWY 07L hi, I don't understand this, it is much more efficient to use 07L for lan...

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR
I was wondering : any feed-back from people since the beginning of RNAV approaches on runway 07L at Brussels (replacing the usual VOR approach, BUB beeing out of the air) ? Well I noticed in the past days (as we're having strong 06 and 07 winds) that the runway 07L is still used after dawn and that...

ok the wind switched to 280 but at the time of the aborted landings there was a light wind from 060. I find it odd to abort two landings (the FR from Treviso was 2miles from the threshold...) but of course I don't have all the data.

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2018
what happened at BRU airport ? All the flights on final approach to 07L turned left and went on hold.
And after 15min they are now all heading to RWYs 25... I find this odd... there was no wind at that time...

Agree, Wroclaw is one of the nicest towns of Poland.
However, I'm surprised BA goes for it, as Ryanair flights to Wroclaw are sooo cheap and I think not profitable (remember how empty the flight were some years ago). For example, I booked a ticket for 20€ return in August, over the weekend!
