flight rescheduled, my rights?
I booked a ticket in April for a flight NCE-BRU with SN in November. At the time of booking the schedule was:
NCE BRU 1615 1755
2 weeks ago I got an email from SN, the flight was rescheduled to:
NCE BRU 2140 2315
that's more than 5 hours!
What are the passenger's rights in such a situation?

Re: Ever been to Hong Kong?
Wow, big thanks to everyone for the tips! Highly appreciated. But now it seems six days won't be enough though ;) Anyway, lots of things to choose from, great! We'll be flying Lufti, A346 out, Jumbo (hopefully PTV AVOD) in. CX turned out to be more expensive, and Qatar, have to admit, also looked te...

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Is this correct? Because I think 4 733's (inc. OO-LTM) are still flying, but only 3 734's.MR_Boeing wrote: For the 737's still: 2 733's and 4 734's.
Is OO-VEK stored and the next to go?

Re: LH 340-300 : PTV in economy
Yes, all of their A343's have PTV in Y. The only long-haul aircraft of LH without PTV is the B744, but 10 of these will also have it installed at the end of this year.

SN achieved enormous growth in July. Pax numbers rose with 19.3% to a total of 568 000 passengers. And maybe more interesting, loadfactor rose to a record number of 78.7% (compared to 72.8% in 2010). Especially in Europe SN is growing very fast with 21% more pax. In Africa they grew with 4.7%, that...

In Hainan's newest PDF timetable there is a new destination visible, Madrid. However Hainan hasn't announced this yet and it's not loaded in the GDS either, so it's not sure if it will go trough. Madrid would be operated two weekly as a tag-on of the Shangai-Brussels route, two times a week (Monday...

Re: 777 flights in Europe
Maybe during the winter season UA or AA will deploy a 777 when they again fly a tag-on LHR-BRU. I flew them in FEB 2010. But I think, with global aviation recovering in recent months, that chance will be small.
