Re: Air Belgium in 2024
I wrote an article at L-Post about this incident (which was released this Monday), I had from one source that the captain was indeed banned from Sri Lanka. However, I would like to mention that AB, as usual, seems to answer "à la tête du client" as we haven't got any answer to our question...

Re: BRU Winter 2023-2024: news, new routes, airlines
Albawings, initially supposed to start on 29th January postponed to 9th February, 16th February and now 23rd February. One has to wonder if this maiden flight will ever happen. Given Albawings' multiple delays since January, will their maiden flight actually take off on the rescheduled date? Sorry ...

Re: 2024 Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL/EBCI) latest news
I personally have the feeling that the current terminal is outdated and close to saturation. You can't be the 2nd airport of Belgium with only two security checks. You can do it for Antwerp, Liège or Ostend but Charleroi, no, it is one of the biggest bases of Ryanair. I know it is supposed to be low...

I guess that he only got a few minutes for his interview. Seems that Dorothea von Boxberg isn't that reachable for a long and deep interview.

The first 77W of Qatar I see in my file is twice in 2018, aftw A359 till the first semester of 2020. How awkward... A little bit of research gives : Qatar Airways announces the use of an A350-900 Airbus aircraft for flights from Brussels to Doha from 27 October [2019]. The A350 had already been int...

What is great is that actually nobody checks info when they get published. Yes, the first A339 left to Tarbes. No, the A332 aren't gone (yet) to AirSERBIA : they are currently flying for Sri Lankan Airlines. Air Belgium confirmed itself that OE-LAC and OE-LCL will go to Air Serbia: https://luchtvaa...

Re: Air Belgium in 2024
Actually, I have a doubt that it is really what it is supposed to say as the title is "LOT is also taking the second Airbus A330neo of Air Belgium in ACMI". My opinion is that they are supposing that both are flying but there is currently only one flying. Do not count on me to pay €19, tha...
